Chris is the UKI Regional Director for Greenplum, the Big Data division of EMC, a role which combines his experience of business transformation, Artificial Intelligence background and 11 years EMC tenure. In previous roles he has lead EMC's consulting organization and also the overall UK&I Services business. Chris has a First Class degree in Computing and Information Technology specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing. His career began as a database designer and he was awarded Chartered Engineer and Chartered Information Systems Practitioner by the BCS and Engineering Council.

Mark Webber

Mark Webber, Partner, Head of Technology Transaction, Osborne Clarke

Mark is a partner at Osborne Clarke and a leading lawyer specialising in transactions with a technology component.  He focuses on innovative technology-led deals where IP, data or technology is being leveraged to add value to a business. As head of the technology sector at the firm, he is frequently called on to act on the cross-over space between IP and IT.  He has a particular focus on in complex technology transactions, ecommerce, cloud computing.

Mark worked in Osborne Clarke's Silicon Valley office for three years and is recognised for IT legal work in each of the leading directories.  He co-authored the UK chapter of Global Security and Privacy Law published by Wolters Kluwer. Mark is the lawyer behind @cloudlawwatch on Twitter.

John Easton

John is internationally known for his work helping commercial clients exploit large scale distributed computational infrastructures, particularly those utilising new and emerging technologies. He is currently leading a European team of IBM architects building the next generation of systems infrastructures to support Business Analytics and Optimisation workloads. He has worked with clients in a wide range of industries with a particular focus on banks and financial markets firms. He also has significant experience in the telecommunications & public sectors.  John was recently the UK Technical Leader for Cloud Computing shaping IBM strategy in this key business area and helping clients with their implementation and adoption of cloud technologies.   

Sam Zindel

Simon Hill is CEO and co-founder of Wazoku, an Associate Director with the Venture Capital Firm FindInvestGrow and an active member of the London technology and entrepreneurial community. Simon works as an advisor and mentor to a number of early stage technology business across a range of sectors. Simon was formerly Head of Business Development at Huddle, the B2B Enterprise Collaboration solution, where he helped the business grow to the global success story it is today through partner deals such as LinkedIn, InterCall, HP and Orange. 

In 2009 Simon left Huddle and, together with his business partner, founded Wazoku.  Wazoku is a B2B application that enables businesses or other organisations to set challenges or gather ideas from defined communities to solve real issues using the power of crowdsourcing and co-creation. Simon is CEO and is supported by an excellent team and working with some amazing companies.

Andrew Carr is chief executive officer (CEO), Bull UK & Ireland. In this post, he is concentrating on spearheading the company’s drive to become a high-performance organisation, a transition he helped to kick-start in his previous role as sales and marketing director.



During his time at the company, Carr has successfully driven a refocus on propositions and markets around information management, managed services and high performance computing, in particular, culminating in successive half years of growth in a challenging environment.



Prior to joining Bull in April 2011, Carr was executive sales director for ComputerLand UK PLC. ComputerLand was acquired by The Capita Group in 2008 and Carr was made sales and marketing director for Outsourcing within Capita IT Services.



Carr subsequently joined Sungard Public Sector, successfully closing a number of contracts and re-shaping the go-to-market strategy.
